Howes Knife Shop, LLC will Self Insure products shipping to all US destinations when the insurance for the total value of that product is purchased by customer at time of confirming their order. If lost or stolen, Howes Knife Shop, LLC will first replace product if properly insured and in inventory, refund if product is not in inventory and will access value of damaged product upon its return to Howes Knife Shop, LLC and refund or replace as deemed fair to both parties. If product leaves our store uninsured Howes Knife Shop, LLC will not be responsible for that product if damaged, lost or stolen and all liability will fall to the customer purchasing that product.
An appropriate amount of time will be given to USPS to try and locate any lost shipment and all communications for lost, stolen or damaged products will be between customer and Howes Knife Shop, LLC.
Howes Knife Shop, LLC will not insure International orders and will not be held responsible for packages shipped Internationally that are lost, stolen or damaged. Please see Shipping & Returns for more information.
